Parambikulam Wildlife Sanctuary

Idduki Wildlife Sanctuary

Idukki is one of the most bio-diverse and picturesque areas of Kerala. The Idukki Wildlife Sanctuary spreads over an area of 105.364 sq km between two rivers Cheruthoni and Periyar.

Chinnar Wildlife Sanctuary

Chinnar is a very large sanctuary in Kerala. It has around 34 species of mammals, NilgiriTahr, Tiger, Indian Elephant, Spotted Deer and Panthers.

Situated in the rain shadow region of the Western Ghats is the habitat for the endangered Grizzled giant squirrel in India. With less rains this place has a very unusual ecology and is very rich is medicinal plants.

Wayanad Wildlife Sanctuary

Wayanad Wildlife sanctuary is huge  because it is  a extension of  Bandipur Tiger Reserve and Nagarhole N.P., of Karnataka in north and also Mudumalai Tiger Reserve of Tamil Nadu in south-eastern side.
