  • Trek to Chandrashila: This trek takes you to the Chopta, with undulating green meadows and splendid view of majestic Himalayan peaks. From here one can trek up to Tungnath temple, at a distance of 2.5 kms. At an altitude of 3680 m, this is the highest Shiva shrine in the world. All along the route, along with amazing flora and fauna, get wonderful views of the Himalayan peaks like Kedar, Bandarpoonch and Chaukhamba. From Tungnath you can trek up a further 1 kms to the Chandrashilla peak.

  • Trek to Deoriatal: A trek to Deorital takes you to the most beautiful high altitude lake, at an elevation of 2,800 meters. Deorital is a lovely lake with pristine, crystal clear waters and with clear reflection of the peaks of the Neelkanth and Chaukhamba mountains.You can even enjoy a hike through the plain valleys along the riverbanks.

Ride a cycle through the trails that are all around the forests in Kund, the main base of all trekking trails.  This is relatively relaxing cycling trip with sections of flat, uphill and downhill trails.

From Kund reach Jayalgarh. Rafting to Devprayag from Jayalgarh is the adventure that beckons you next. Raft for around 25km from the camp till you reach Devprayag. Face  rapids of class II – III, raft through the combination of Bhagirathi and Alaknanda which finally meet to form the holy River Ganga at Devprayag. You can even have a try at kayaking here.
