1. Barapole River Rafting (South Coorg)

Once you reach Barapole, you can start your river rafting expedition. Ponya Devarakad is the base camp and you will be greeted by grade II rapids known as Morning Coffee. The gushing waters proceed to Grade III rapids called Grass HopperRamba Samba Grade II, Wicked Witch Grade III that ultimately flow to Grade IV rapids Big Bang. Follow the guidelines of the instructors, wear comfortable outfits and apply sunscreen for a brilliant rafting experience.

Timings: 9 AM to 3 PM

2. Dubare River Rafting (North Coorg)

Dubare River Rafting is synonymous to rafting in River Cauvery. It has fewer rapids compared to Barapole River. Adventurists have two choices.

  1. Shorter rafting route : 8.5 kilometers
  2. Longer rafting route : 12 kilometers

You will cross dense woods while voyaging on the raft in Dubare. It is an ideal destination for first time rafters too as it mainly includes grade I and II rapids.
