First aid is best
You will be camping or staying in home stays in most locations which are bereft of any infrastructure. Medical facilities are also likely hundreds of miles away in such a case be prepared with first aid kits and any regular medication before your trip to Leh-Ladakh.
Ladakh is cold throughout the year and hence even regular biodegradable stuff takes long to degenerate. Be prepared to take your trash back with you and bring bags to take away tissue papers, sanitary napkins, plastic bottles et al. Preserve the nature!
Water and sunscreen
You might think a cold place cannot give you sunburn but because of the elevation you can easily come home with a red nose! Prevent that and take sunscreen. Also, drink a lot of water to prevent any fatigue and keep your body hydrated.
Leh- Ladakh is pure nature and a certain level of respect and responsibility is a must while here. So be prepared and enjoy a dream come true trip. You can drive or fly it does not matter but just be prepared!
