Poush Mela is one of the most awaited and important festivals that is celebrated at Shantiniketan in Birbhum, West Bengal. Good motorable roads connect Santiniketan with Kolkata 190 kms, Durgapur 56 kms, Sarnath 197 kms.
The nearest railway station is Bolpur (2 kms from main town). Tourist cars and buses are available from bus stand or Railway station.
