Damru Festival Pune 2015, 19th – 20th December
The Dumru Rhythm Festival is India’s Premier rhythm festival and was first hosted in the year 2011 with the best of Indian percussive talents at the Mahalaxmi lawns in Kothrud. An exceptional response by the Pune music and rhythm lovers has now made it the most coveted rhythm festival of India.
This year for the first time this festival will witness many global artists. Grammy award winner percussionists from across the globe will showcase their talents. Also 10 well deserving newbie artist will be given a chance to showcase their percussive talent. Sawai Gandharva Music Festival Pune 2015, 10th – 13th December
A very well renowned and popular classical Indian music festival organized in the cultural capital of Maharashtra, Pune. Started by Bharat Ratna Pt. Bhimsen Joshi in 1953, to commemorate the first death anniversary of Sawai Gandharva, a renowned Hindustani vocalist this coluorful musical festival is the most coveted Indian classical music festival’s today in India.

After the death of Pandit Bhimsen Joshi’s demise in 2011, the festival has been renamed as Sawai Gandharva Bhimsen Mahotsav.
